Airbnb Cleaning Checklist For Hosts
Every reliable Airbnb turnover lives or dies by its checklist. Here's the one we use across Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and the rest of the UK.
Bedrooms
Strip all beds, bag used linen. Remake with fresh hotel-grade linen, hospital corners. Hoover floors and under beds. Dust all surfaces and skirtings. Polish mirrors. Empty bins.
Bathrooms
Descale taps and showerheads. Deep clean toilet inside and out. Wipe tiles and mirrors. Polish chrome. Replace toiletries and folded towels. Mop floor last.
Kitchen
Wipe and polish all surfaces. Clean inside microwave, descale kettle, empty toaster. Wipe inside fridge, bin guest leftovers. Restock tea, coffee, dish tabs, bin bags.
Living areas
Hoover including edges. Polish hard surfaces. Plump cushions, fold throws. Check remotes and Wi-Fi card. Set thermostat to welcoming temperature.
Final walk-through
Photo report sent to host. Lights set for arrival. Internal doors locked where needed. Property confirmed ready in messaging app.
